If you want to add Camera Shake in Davince Resolve then it can be tricky since there isn't a 'shake' tool. Learn a quick workaround to achieve this effect.


Adding Camera Shake can add realism to your footage

Sometimes you just need to Add Camera Shake to a shot. Often the shot looks too much like a still image. Sometimes the shot just needs some extra energy or you need to hide some shoddy compositing. 

Resolve is not the easiest application to add camera shake as there is no quick and easy way to do this with the built in tool set. But thanks to a nifty trick using Resolve’s Color Trace tool this can easily be achieved.

In this insight I show you how to build the Camera Shake effect and how it can be saved in your Gallery library to become part of your color grading toolbox.
